Privacy Policy

This policy describes how CosmicFlow (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use cosmicflow.in.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone), birth details you choose to share (date, time and place of birth), palm photos you upload for readings, your conversations with our AI astrologers, and purchase records. Birth-place text is converted to coordinates to compute your chart.

Conversation history and memory

Your conversations with our AI astrologers are stored on our servers, so that a thread continues where you left off and follows you between your phone, tablet and computer.

We also derive and store a short set of durable personal facts from those conversations — for example that you are considering a career change, or that a family member’s health has been on your mind — so your guide can pick up the thread months later instead of meeting you as a stranger each time. These notes are generated automatically from what you tell us, are readable only by your own account, and are never used to build advertising or marketing profiles.

How we use it

Solely to operate CosmicFlow: computing your astrological charts, generating readings and chat replies, remembering the context of your past sessions, maintaining your coin balance, and processing payments. Reading generation uses AI services (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude) — your birth data, questions and relevant remembered context are sent to them to produce your reading, under terms that do not permit training on your content.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show your data, conversations or remembered notes to other users. We do not use your palm photos for anything except generating your reading.

Palm photographs

Palm images are sent to the vision model to produce your reading and are not retained on our servers afterwards. The resulting reading text is kept in your history; the photographs are not.

Storage and security

Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) with row-level security; the browser never accesses the database directly. Conversations and remembered notes are stored in the same protected database, reachable only by the CosmicFlow backend acting for your signed-in account. Payments are processed by Razorpay and Dodo Payments — we never see or store your card details.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — which screens are visited and where sign-up drops off. These measurements never include your name, email, birth details or conversations.

We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook), which sets a cookie and tells Meta which of our pages your browser visited and when a purchase was made (the amount and the plan — never what a reading said). We use this to measure whether our advertising works and to reach people who visited us when we advertise on Meta’s platforms. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy and may connect it to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.

What neither Google nor Meta ever receives from us: your birth details, your conversations, your palm photos, your remembered notes, or the content of any reading. Analytics and advertising see which doors you walked through — never what was said inside.

You can opt out of Meta’s tracking in your Facebook settings under “Ads” → “Ad settings” → “Activity off Meta”, and most browsers and content blockers can block both tools entirely — CosmicFlow works exactly the same with them blocked.

Approximate location

To suggest your city for the daily panchang and to show prices in the right currency, we look up the approximate city of your IP address using a geolocation service. This is a city-level guess, not GPS; it is used only for those defaults, you can always override it, and it is not stored against your profile.

Your rights

You can update your details in Settings at any time. You can erase a conversation and everything remembered from it at any time using Settings → Clear conversation history — this deletes the messages and the derived notes permanently, and cannot be undone. You can also delete your account entirely (Settings → Delete My Account), which permanently removes your profile, readings, conversations, remembered notes and coin history. Retention

We keep the messages of a conversation for 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. The short notes derived from them are kept longer so your guide still remembers the important things, but notes that stop being relevant fade and are removed over time, and we cap how many we hold per person.

You can erase everything sooner at any time using Settings → Clear conversation history, and everything is removed when you delete your account — other than backups, which age out on their normal cycle.
